Hi there! We’re Stephen and Catherine traveling with our beloved dog, Finley—We are avid adventurers with a passion for scenic travels to uncharted destinations.

Through our blog, we plan to share immersive stories, expert travel tips, and insider insights on everything from sailing and hiking to unforgettable off-the-beaten-path destinations (as pet-friendly as possible).

Thanks to our international backgrounds, we’ve had the amazing privilege of exploring hundreds of places around the globe.

These days, we split our time between life aboard our Leopard Catamaran, S/V Misty Blue, and hiking the scenic trails surrounding our cozy mountain escape, Misty Blue Retreat, near Bryson City, North Carolina — on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains.
